SAPOA Postal Conference 2024

The 2024 SAPOA Postal Conference, with its theme "Harnessing Technology, E-commerce, and Financial Inclusion to Implementing Change," commenced yesterday 28th February 2024, and BotswanaPost is proudly hosting this 3 day monumental event here in Gaborone.

This conference is a yearly congregation of Post and Logistics operators, as well as Postal Sector experts, providing a unique platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and fostering advancements in the industry. The inauguration of the conference was graced by the esteemed presence of the Honorable Thulagano Merafe Segokgo, Minister of Communications, Knowledge & Technology. This highlights the significance and support that the government of Botswana places on the development and progression of the postal and logistics sectors.

It serves as a unique platform for international collaboration, with 15 member countries participating. These include Lesotho, Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The collaboration among these nations fosters a unified approach to addressing regional challenges and implementing shared solutions.
