• All valid claims are paid within 48 hours of Hollard receiving all required claims documentation.
• All insured people must be Botswana citizens or permanent residents and live in Botswana.

How to get this plan;

• Visit any of BotswanaPost branch and ask the teller about the product.
• Pay your first premium at BotswanaPost (keep your till slip).
• Your policy documentation is included in the registration pack.
• You can pay ongoing premiums in two way;
  • Cash at any BotswanaPost branch.
  • Apply for a debit order at any BotswanaPost branch, however the first payment to activate the account is only accepted as cash.
• Provide BotswanaPost with you and your beneficiary information.
• Remember to pay your premiums monthly to enjoy cover.

Option 1 - Family Funeral Cover

• P7 500 Family Funeral @ only P27.95 per month 
• Insured person and partner must be between 18 and 64 years old when buying the policy.

Option 1A - Family Funeral Cover

P7 500 Family Funeral @ only P64.95 per month.

Insured person and partner must be between 65 and 74 years old and partner between 18 to 74 years old when buying the policy.

Option 1B - Family Funeral Cover

P7 500 Family Funeral @ only P129.95 per month.

Insured person and partner must be between 75 and 84 years old and partner between 18 to 84. years old when buying the policy.

Option 2 - Family Funeral Cover

• P15 000 Family Funeral @ only P64.95 per month 
• Insured person and partner must be between 18 to 64 years old when buying the policy.

Option 2A - Family Funeral Cover

P15 000 Family Funeral @ only P124.95 per month.

Insured person must be between 65 to 74 years old and partner between 18 to 74 years old when buying the policy.

Option 2B - Family Funeral Cover

P15 000 Family Funeral @ only P249.95 per month.

Insured person must be between 75 to 84 years old and partner between 18 to 84 years old when buying the policy.

Option 3 - Family Funeral Incl. Parents Cover

P10 000 Family Funeral including parent cover @ only P149.95 per month with cash back.

• Covers insured person, partner and up to 5 children.
• Covers up to 4 parents.
• 6 months premium is paid back for every 36 consecutive premiums paid whether or not there has been a claim against the policy.
• Main Member & Partner’s entry age is 18-64 years.
• Parents must not be older than 75 years when cover starts; cover is for life if premiums are up to date.

Option 4 - Family Funeral Incl. Parents Cover

P15 000 Family Funeral including parent cover @ only P195.95 per month with cash back.

• Covers insured person, partner and up to 5 children.
• Covers up to 4 parents.
• 6 months premium is paid back for every 36 consecutive premiums paid whether or not there has been a claim against the policy.
• Main Member & Partner’s entry age is 18-64 years.
• Parents must not be older than 75 years when cover starts; cover is for life if premiums are up to date.

Option 5- Main Member Funeral Cover

P12 500 Main Member @ only P79.95 per month.

Insured person must be between 65-74 years old when buying the policy.

• Covers Insured person only.
• No waiting period for accidental deaths.
• 12 months waiting period for natural deaths.

Option 6- Main Member Funeral Cover

P7 500 Main Member @ only P107.95 per month.

Insured person must be between 75-84 years old when buying the policy.

• Covers Insured person only.
• No waiting period for accidental deaths.
• 12 months waiting period for natural deaths.

How to Claim:

• Visit any BotswanaPost branch and complete a claim form and provide the following documentation:
• Death certificate.
• ID of claimant.
• Partner claims - Marriage Certificate / Affidavit confirming. relationship.
• Children claims – Birth Certificate.
• Police Report.
• Or/and any other documentation as may be required.
