Thato is a seasoned, principled, ethical, and value-driven HR Operations professional. She has gained twenty-six (26) years of practical experience, fifteen (15) of which were spent in Finance working as an Accounts Payables Manager and eleven (11) years in HR as the Operations Head of HR of three (3) countries Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe in the Banking Sector. Having worked in HR shared service centres, Thato has a very sound work ethic based on results focus and bias towards execution and achievement of set targets.
Thato Joined BotswanaPost in 2012 as the Service Delivery Manager, where she effectively spearheaded automation of payroll, employee self-service, overtime, leave management. She also developed and implemented Departmental operating procedures, reviewed and implemented HR policies. Thato has the proven ability to align Human Resources strategies with Business Goals.
She has held several Board memberships as the Principal Officer of Standard Chartered Staff Pension Fund and The BotswanaPost Staff Pension Fund.
She holds a BCOMHRM from MANCOSA, a Diploma in Banking with Botswana Institute of Bankers, and a full AAT qualification with Botswana Accountancy College.
