For the second year in a row, BotswanaPost collaborated with Women of Works to support the Miss Millennium beauty pageant—an initiative that goes beyond beauty to uplift and empower women. This year, in addition to DigiPost, finalists were introduced to another key BotswanaPost service: PosoInsure. This bears testimony to BotswanaPost’s dedication in equipping finalists with valuable financial tools and opportunities to enhance their quality of life.
As DigiPost vendors, the finalists gain an avenue to earn income by reselling BotswanaPost’s postal and value-added services, providing them with both financial independence and a way to serve their communities. Additionally, through a Financial Literacy workshop hosted by Women of Works and key partners, they received essential knowledge on securing their financial future.
Speaking at the workshop, PosoInsure Business Development Manager, Ms. Lesego Leshona, emphasized the importance of financial security in an ever-evolving landscape. She encouraged the finalists to start small, stay consistent, and stay informed when it comes to their finances. "At PosoInsure, our mission extends beyond insurance. We are committed to fostering financial inclusion and empowering Batswana, especially women, with the knowledge and tools to secure their future," she shared.
By the time the contestants stepped onto the Miss Millennium stage this past Saturday 8th March 2025, they did so not only with confidence and poise but also with financial wisdom and a vision for change. BotswanaPost takes this opportunity to congratulate the 2025 Miss Millennium queen, Ms. Chedza Pansiri and all the finalists for their inspiring journey!
